YouTube Has Taken the Backburner.

I"ve been struggling with YouTube. Struggling is definitely an understatement. It's something that I assumed for so long was so simple, when in fact? It's the complete opposite. I struggled looking at the camera (I always felt so nervous and uncomfortable!), and then when my life took some unexpected turns, I kinda just stopped doing it.

I feel a little guilty for giving up on something so quickly! I know it's going to take some time to get used to talking to a camera. I know it's going to take a while before I get better, but I have definitely gotten disgruntled.

I told myself that starting March I want to start uploading at least 2-4 times a month. I know that's a lot to take on, on top of the blogging I do, but I want to at least give it a good shot. The one question I want to ask you guys is, what do you want to see?

It would help loads if you guys could at least give me suggestions on the types of videos you like to see! Maybe get myself out of my comfort zone a bit more.

I'm sorry for the super short post today, but I just wanted to talk to you guys about this, and thought this was the best way to do so.

As always, I hope you have a wonderful day/night. Sending you loads of strength, love and positivity.

I'm also wanting to start Youtubing, I haven't made any videos yet though! I know I've been saying that forever...

I think I would feel really awkward vlogging in public, but you could try experimenting filming somewhere you're comfortable like at home to build up your camera confidence?

I'd love to see some exploring around new york videos, I think it's so cool that you live there!

Yay!! I'm excited to read them 🙂 I never think of my home city as anything special but when I meet people who are visiting I remember that there's actually things to do and see here xD

YouTube definitely seems daunting at first, but I imagine it's something the more you do the more used to it you get. Maybe try speaking more on Instagram stories first to get used to talking to a camera. Maybe start out with a 'get to know me', like a tag or something. I hope you manage to get back into it xxx

maybe you should try re introducing yourself & tell your views what to expect in your upcoming videos by adding little snippets of your old videos as well to get your new views excited 💕 .

Sorry this comment is so log - I got carried away..
At least you uploaded a video to your YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/user/ivefoundthewaldo/videos as recently as three months ago! I think getting over being camera shy takes practice.
You are doing way better both blogging and posting YouTube videos than I am. I haven't taken a new video for my own YouTube channel ( https://www.youtube.com/user/misterpantybuns ) for over 3 years, or uploaded a video there for over two years. The reason is not completely that I feel too old and out of shape and self-conscious, or that I get depressed about some of my videos being restricted by YouTube. Since my old camera broke I've been looking without success for an easy to use low light camcorder with a remote control having start, pause and stop - and a tripod. Maybe if I had someone else to record me?
Uploading 2-4 times a month would seem like a lot to me
What kind of videos would I like to see?
Haul and try-on videos, Outfit and lookbook videos, room or other tours, videos with you and your friends, travel videos, or whatever else you feel like filming. 😀
