Things I'm Grateful in February.

February has been such an amazing month for me. January took forever to go by, but February felt like it flew! I normally make this series only three things, but so many fun and amazing things happened this month, that I couldn't help but add a few more items to this list!

I went to Dominican Republic

I haven't been to visit my family in years. I was so happy to go and spend time my grandmother and my aunts and uncle. The country has changed so much since I've last been there, so it was nice to get to know it all over again. I totally fell in love. I promise that it won't take 6 years to go back this time around. I'll probably back sometime this year.

Liberty Science Center After Dark

I've been dying to go to one of these event, but never had gone out of my way to go to one. For those of you that don't know the Liberty Science Center, is a science museum in the NY/NJ area that's especially meant for kids. About a year ago, they started this event on the third Thursday of every month where they have adult science events. They serve alcoholic drinks themed, they have some science exhibits, and it's just really fun.

This month my friend, Jill, asked me if I wanted to go, and I was ecstatic! The month the theme was Mardi Gras, so we  bought necklaces, hair pieces, and masks, and went (sidenote: Jill actually bought everything for both of us). It was such a blast, I honestly can't wait to go to another one of these events in the future.

Romeo Santos

Now, if you don't know my family is Dominican (hence visiting my family when I went to the Dominican Republic). For whatever reason, I've never been to a latin concert! This month, my dad surprised our whole family with tickets to see Romeo Santos at Madison Square Garden.

It was such an amazing concert. He played music from his entire music career. What made it even better was the fact that there were so many great special guests! He brought in Daddy Yankee, Wisin y Yandel, and Ozuna. I literally danced and sang the whole night away. Thank dad! This is truly a concert I will never forget.

I am part of the Yelp Elite

I had a friend who worked with Yelp, and she told about how much fun the events are! She told me the only way I would be able to go to be part of the Yelp Elite. Now what is the Yelp Elite you ask? It's an exlusive group that Yelp has for their most active members. It took me a year of checking in, writing reviews, and posting pictures, but this month they finally accepted me!

I even went to two events. They're both so fun and I'm so happy to be a part of the Yelp Elite. Check if you have a Yelp Elite squad in your area! I promise you it's so worth it.

What are you grateful for in the month of February? Let me know in the comments below! I hope you guys have a wonderful day/night. Sending you all love, strength and positivity.
