Younique Eyeliner & Epic Mascara Review.

Hey guys, I'm back again! I know what you're thinking, two beauty reviews in one week, even one month!? This week's been a little hectic this month, and sometimes it's just easier to write out some nice lighthearted beauty posts verses some of the more personal stuff.

My friend became a presenter for Younique, and she wanted to send me some products to test out. Like always, regardless or not the products are gifted to me, I will always give you my honest opinion. So let's get right into it!

I have to go right off the bat and say that I didn't have high hopes for these products. I have never heard of this brand before, and I was more than skeptical. By the end of testing both of the products out, I was more than pleasantly surprised!

MOODSTRUCK PRECISION™ Pencil Eyeliner

She sent me two products to test out, one of which was the Moodstruck Precision Pencil Eyeliner in the shade Presumptuous, which is a blue gray/navy color. I was impressed with the packaging. It look sleek in it's matte black packaging, with the end of the pencil showing you exactly what color it was. When i tested it out on my hand, the formula glided on smoothly. It was extremely pigmented as well! It has a few metallic-like flecks of glitter in the eyeliner, which on the eyes you don't really see, but on my hand I noticed.

The pricing for this product is $15 for one (but you could also buy them in sets to save you some money). When comparing it to the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil, which is the one I currently use, the price is really good! The Urban Decay pencil is $21 for the same amount of product!

Overall, I was so pleased with this eyeliner formula. It didn't smudge or didn't bleed after long periods of time! If you're on the lookout for a new eyeliner, this might be the one for you. You can check out the eyeliner here!

MOODSTRUCK EPIC™ Mascara

The second product she sent me to test out was the Moodstuck Epic Mascara. If you guys have been following my blog for a while, you should know my holy grail has always been the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara (you can read about it here). I knew when I received this product that it was going to be extremely difficult for me to be impressed.

While I was skeptical, I had recently tried a new mascara that has either tied with the Better than Sex or is better (this actually hurt my heart to admit).  The MILK Kush Mascara has been doing wonders for my lashes, and so I thought maybe this one might be EVEN better than my top two faves.

I went in with an open mind, and I was pretty impressed. Within the first coat, the lashes were separated nicely. I didn't get the volume I wanted, but it separated and lengthened my lashes. After a few extra coats (which is what I do for ALL of the mascaras I use), I was pleased to see that they were black, long and pretty voluminous! Below I'm going to show you the results.

IMG_2758 So the left eye has no makeup on whatsoever and the right eye has multiple coats of mascara. Like I said I was pretty impressed! While I don't think it's going to replace either of my two favorites, I definitely think it's a pretty good mascara. If you want to try it out yourself or just get your hands on this, you can check it out here!

So those are the two products I received to test out! I will definitely try to test out other products from Younique and possibly do a full face review! Thank you Leslie for sending me these products to test out.

Sometimes the unknown brands can be the best ones. I'm glad you liked these products - it's the best when makeup exceeds your expecations. The eyeliner especially, it's hard finding one which won't smudge throughout the day. xx

My mom literally said the same thing! I don't mind if it fades, but smudging is something I definitely don't want. Raccoon eyes were never cute, lmfaoo. Thanks for reading and commenting ! x

I'm exactly the same way, and since my friend was a part of this brand and offered to let me try the products, I was more than curious. I was pleasantly surprised by the results. At least they're not terrible products. I think I'm going to try more of their products out, and maybe try to do a full face youtube video so people can see the actual results from this brand.
I always think, how are people supposed to trust me if I don't tell them the truth. I take pride in the fact that I stay honest and true to all my readers! Thank you so much for reading and commenting Cleia ! xx
