5 Posts I’ve Been Lovin’ Recently | Episode 10

Oh my god you guys, yesterday was definitely one of the worst snow days where I live. We get a lot of snow, but for whatever reason my state wasn't expecting that much? They ended up not putting salt on the ground or plowing the ground! I got out of work, and a normal 15 minute drive home, took me 4 HOURS. It was honestly so terrible.

Today, I woke up super tired and exhausted, and this weekend is going to be super busy, because my sister turned 21 today! We're spending the weekend in Philly, so I'm super excited for that.

Now, I know you came here to read some interesting posts I've read throughout the month, so here they are!

THE BLURRED LINES OF FEMINISM AND NUDITY

I know you might be getting sick of hearing about Laura, but she's done it again! I feel like this post really resonated with me. She spoke about feminism in regards to how you dress. It's kind of odd to me that people could consider you a feminist or not a feminist because of the way you dress. It honestly doesn't make sense, because the two don't add up! Laura definitely goes into details about her thoughts on this. I definitely recommend you check the post out!

The Importance of Networking

As a fellow blogger, I definitely loved this post. Before blogging, I didn't really consider myself as someone who networked much. Post blogging, I'm definitely more about it. I love meeting new people, and in this post, Chloe talks about the importance of networking! You should check out this post and her blog if you haven't already!

6 NO BULLSHIT TIPS FOR ANYONE STARTING A SIDE HUSTLE

6 no bullshit tips for anyone starting a side hustle.png

As someone who tends to care what people think, this post was perfect for me. I'm definitely learning not to care about other's thoughts, cause I gotta do me regardless of what others think. I'm happy! This post is definitely a no bullshit post that gets straight to the point. I honestly am a huge fan of her blog, and how she helps me improve in terms of blogging and being a #girlboss. Definitely give it a read!

ME TOO.

This is an old post, and really made me feel for her. I've been a huge fan of her blog for quite some time. In this post, she talks about her experience with sexual assault. She includes a trigger warning, and I'm going to do the same. If stuff like that triggers you, please do not read. I feel like she's super strong to share this with the world. Definitely a super strong piece, and should be read.

SHOULD I WEAR MAKE UP ON A FLIGHT?

I love Maria and her Instagram. In this post, she talks about her self-conscious struggle when she doesn't wear makeup. She talks about her decision on whether or not should she wear makeup on a flight. We all know it's terrible for your skin to wear makeup on a plane, but she talks about her internal struggles. It's a super relatable piece, and I think you should give it a read!

These all sound like really great posts! We had a flurry of snow earlier in the week when I was in New York but I think it will be a while yet until we get any in the UK (thankfully)!

I escaped the snow just in time. (Kinda, it still snowed but my hometown is use to it lol) I was shocked at how unprepared NY was. And such great blogs you posted! I LOVE Laura! I am going to ave to check out some of these other ones! Thanks for sharing sweets! <3

You got lucky! I usually get a lot of snow, but NJ was totally unprepared for it this time around! They didn't salt the roads enough and the plows weren't on the road like they usually are! I'm glad you got out of it safe and sound. I also love Laura, and I hope you find some new favorites in this great group of girls! Thanks for reading and commenting xxx

Thank you Melina for mentioning me again! I don't know how to write it without sounding cheesy or over the top, but I'm really grateful! It's really nice seeing different bloggers and their content put together like this. Just shows how many angles they are to explore. xxx
