3 Posts I’ve been Lovin’ Right Now | Episode 8

Hey guys! I know I skipped Tuesday's post, and am posting this later than usual. This transition to fall weather has been a little tough for me. It's been raining everyday, and I've just been in this weird unmotivational funk. I've been trying to  fight it, and so I'm going to publish this post, even though it's later than usual, anddd I'll try to post again sometime this weekend (but don't take my word for it).

It's that time of the month where I talk about all my favorite blog posts I've read recently! Let's get right into it.

How Relateable do Bloggers Actually Have to Be

Lottie did a post about how relatable to bloggers have to be, and I think this relates to  influencers in general, not just bloggers. She talks about how she doesn't believe "bloggers' have to be relatable because she likes the idea of reading about something she would never actually experience/do herself.

I got exactly what she was talking about. While I do follow some people who are completely relatable in terms of how they live and their mindset on life, I also follow some people who live completely different from how I do. I find it interesting! While I understand why people don't like to watch people they can't relate to, I completely understand why people like Zoella and Casey Neistat are popular influencers. Definitely check out her post to read more!

ASPIRING TO BE BEAUTIFUL IS NOT MOTIVATING

Laura has yet again written another post that has spoken to me. If you're not following her yet, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! No, but seriously, she wrote another beautiful post. She talks about where the beauty scene is going. How people try to achieve perfection through airbrushing, and by looking like a plastic Barbie doll. She stresses that people should try to achieve to be their best selves over achieve an unrealistic perfection. She definitely said it much more eloquently than I did just now. Definitely read her post!

My Pledge to Stop Comparing Myself to my Friends

Now this wasn't on purpose, but this is a post by Laura (not the same Laura, as the second post). I found her blog semi-recently, and I fell in love with this post. Laura talks about how she always thought she was the fat friend. The uncool friend. She always compared herself to her friends because she didn't always like doing what they liked doing. Because she didn't look like them. Through this post, you really get to know her, and at the same time are so proud of her conclusion. I feel like it's so natural to compare yourselves to others, especially those closest to you.  I  just felt like this post was so relatable. Definitely go give it a read!

So these are the posts I'm  going to share with you, if you want to read all the other amazing blog posts I've found throughout the last year, check them out below! I hope you have a wonderful day/night. Sending you love, strength, and positivity!

Thank you so much for mentioning one of my posts again. I came across these two big bloggers talking about how motivating it is to see airbrushed skin and I just thought - really?!! It angers me that people justify it that way.
I thought this would be the perfect time to tell you how much I love your blog! I've been a terrible blogger the past few weeks and have barely managed to catch up, but I'm determined to find more time next week. You write with your heart and that flows through your work. xxx
