Virginia Beach

A few summers ago, me and one of my best friends, Amanda, decided to take a super spontaneous trip to Virginia Beach. We weren't planning on going anywhere else throughout the summer, and wanted to take a mini vacation. We decided to drive there on a Thursday night. We got to the hotel super late, but we were happy to be able to start our day there the following day.

I remember walking into the hotel room, and being so happy because the room was beautiful. It was super spacious and had really nice furniture! Our favorite part was the balcony and the flat screen TV. We felt so fancy staying at a hotel like that.

During our Friday morning, we decided to do some touristy stuff. We checked out some of the parks, we took a tour of the Naval Ship, and went to an art Museum! 

We found one of the best grilled cheese restaurants ever. I've had loads of grilled cheeses in my day, and I have to say that they made the best. During out night out we went to Peabody's! I have to say that the music was a little different than what we were used to, but we made do with what we had. I remember them playing a remix of Disney's Let it Go? It was weird then, and it was super weird thinking about it now.

Our Saturday morning was spent going to the beach! We had an amazing time. My favorite part was the fact that the beach was free. Where we live, we have to pay to go to our beaches in the day time. It's honestly so ridiculous! Nonetheless, we had an amazing time.

During our second night out, we decided to go back to Peabody's. We met some super nice people, which made our night even more enjoyable. After the club, we had some garlic knots and some pizza.

Our weekend was quite an adventure for us! All I know is that I always have fun when I go out with this girl. I can't wait for out next adventure!
