Travel Diaries: Cayman Islands, Day at Sea & Final Day.

I'm back to write how the rest of my trip went! I'm sorry it's taking me so long, it's just that I prefer to break my trip into multiple parts then have one long ass post! If you haven't read my other posts about my trip you can click here to hear about my 23rd birthday or here to read about how Jamaica was!

If you guys are really curious to see how my trip went, I started posting videos on my trip! Last week I posted about my birthday and this past Monday I posted the entire cruise. Click here to check out my YouTube channel. So these first two paragraphs was a lot of self promotion, sorry not sorry. I would still love if you subscribed!

Cayman Islands

Now onto the actual trip. So after Jamaica, we spent the next day in Cayman Islands. They don't have an actual dock and so we had to take these little mini boats to the shore so the cruise ship didn't ruin the coral reefs! Once we got to shore, we looked at the mini map they gave us, and started walking around. They gave us a whole bunch of these coupons to give us free stuff, so we started off on a scavenger hunt in order to get all the free things. What can I say, me and my friends love the word free. Once we got all the souvenirs we needed for our family members we headed to Margaritaville. We danced and drank a few margaritas. It was a good time to say the least!

After we left, we decided to go to the beach. The manager of Margaritaville actually told us to take local transportation in order to save money. It felt kind of cool to take the bus the locals take instead of taking a cab! It was about a 10-15 minute ride to the beach. Along the way, all you saw were huge apartment buildings and hotels. It was nothing like Jamaica at all. When you guys see my footage, you'll know what I'm talking about. Cayman Islands was super touristy.

Once we got to the beach, people were trying to sell us beach chairs and umbrellas, but we decided to rough it. We put our stuff on our towels, and headed straight for the water. The water felt amazing. After some time spend in the water, we knew we wanted to do an excursion of some sort. At first we wanted to go jet skiing, but it was super pricey, and so we did the banana boats. It was so much fun, and we almost made it to the end without falling off! If you guys haven't done the group banana boats before, you have to do it! It's so much fun.

When we finished with the banana boats, we went back into the water and chilled, until it was time to go back to the boat.

Later that night we relaxed, got ready and went to dinner. The food was just as delicious as always. We went back to the room, pre-gamed, and then went to the outdoor deck party. It ended up raining outside, but we didn't care and continued to dance in the rain! You'll see in the video that it was literally pouring out, but we continued dancing. It might have to do with the alcohol in our systems or that we were having that much fun! Probably both. All I can say is that we had a blast partying with our dinner mates.

Day at Sea

We woke up late, got some breakfast, which was delicious, and went on the deck. We already had the plan to spend the day tanning on the deck. We were successful, until it started pouring. We went to the adult area where they had hot tubs. Eventually the rain made the water cold, so we ended up going to the spa. We went in the sauna, and it was super relaxing and made us warm up super quickly. Afterwards, we took off our bathing suits and went to play Scatagories with some of our friends, Destiny & Isaiah. If you guys don't know this yet, I'm a huge fan of board games. I may not be the best, but for whatever reason I love them. I literally have a closet full of them.

After this, we split up, and ended up reading in one of the random lounges on the ship. Then did our nightly routine of getting ready before dinner. After dinner, we pre-gamed (as always), and went to the comedy show with our friends! Afterwards, we listened to some live music. Side note, the musicians on the boat have some serious talent, so always try to check them out. After listening to the band we went to the club. It was a super eventful day!

Back in Miami

The morning of, we woke up finished packing up our last minute things, and got off the ship after about an hour of waiting on line. After this we went to the Wynwood walls. Now this is something everyone should stop and look at when they're in Miami. These walls are beautiful art. They have all different styles of art, but it is seriously amazing.

After this we met up with some of my family, and spent time with them. We also went to eat at the famous Versailles. You can never go wrong with some authentic Cuban food! We went back to their place until it was finally time to catch our plane.

This trip was honestly amazing, and full of so many wonderful memories. I'm glad these girls came with me, I'm glad our tablemates were so amazing, and I'm just beyond grateful.

I hope you liked reading about my trip. Let me know in the comments what you thought! I hope you guys have a great day/night. Sending you guys positive vibes.
