showing gratitude | february 2020

February went much quicker than January dd, thank God for that! Today I'm going to talk about the highlights from February. While I've spent most of the month hibernating, I really didn't do much that's exciting to you guys, but I still wanted to share. So let's get right into it!

Stardew Valley

This month was a month for video games, and the one I played the most of was Stardew Valley. I've probably mentioned this game a couple of times, and yet it is still one of my favorites. As someone who grew up playing Harvest Moon and loving it as a kid, this game is amazing.

While I've been playing this game for over a year, I started a new file so I can play the multiplayer mode with my brother! It's been such a great time growing our farm together! I'm already in year 2, have a husband, and my farm is wayy larger than my old one. The game is still coming out with new updates, which I always think is super cool!

Diablo 3

This is another game that has been played quite a bit this month. Me & my brother were playing Path of Exile together, and my sister wanted to play with us! Since her computer isn't good enough to play the game, we decided to all play some good old Diablo 3 on the Xbox One. I forgot how much I liked the game until now!

We're already pretty far into the game, so I'm excited for my brother to come back from his trip, so we can play together again!

Path of Exile

This game was completely new to me, but it's basically a free version of Diablo for the computer! This was another game that me and my brother have spent playing. We're not as far in this than we are in Stardew Valley or Diablo, but I'm still enjoying it.

Single's Mixer

This year, I spent Valentine's day Single. I wrote a post about my thoughts on it. While I was initially pretty bummed about it, I kept my thoughts positive and realized that one good thing came out of it. This was the first year since before high school that me and my best friend were both single at the same time!

We decided to make the most of it, and go to a Single's mixer at a bar near us. While we didn't really meet anyone of interest, we had a great time drinking some beers, singing and dancing the night away.

Erika's 26th Birthday Party

The final thing worth noting, and probably the most exciting was the fact that it's that time of year again! My best friend, Erika, celebrated her birthday at her apartment this year. I had an amazing time. I carpooled with my friend, Jenn. Then from there I hung out with all our Mutual friends!

Not only did I hang out with my friends, I also saw some people that I usually only see for her Birthday! I also became friends with some new people this time around. I had so much fun, and I was super glad to hear that so did Erika!

Like I said, I didn't really do much this month. I did a lot of relaxing, watching TV shows, playing videogames, and reading. I feel like I don't get enough time to do that in the Summer, since I like to spend my time outdoors! Winter is definitely the perfect time to hibernate. What have you done in the past month? Was it similar to mine? Let me know in the comments down below! Sending you strength, love, and positivity.

I'm so sorry for the late response! Sometimes I let these comments build up too much, and then I start answering the recent ones, instead of starting from the bottom up! I hope your may has been treating you well 🙂 x

omg, I know! It's been warming up quite nicely over here. While it hasn't been the coldest winter ever, it's still been dark chilly, so I can't wait for spring and summer! Thanks for reading and commenting 🙂 x
