post i’m lovin’ | #18

Today it's a rainy dreary day on the north east coast. I'm currently watching the rain fall outside, and it's quite peaceful. Sadly I do have to go out in a bit to run a few errands, so I will have to step out later today. For now, I'll keep writing and eating my avocado toast.

Today I decided to share with you my favorite posts. If I've been consistent with any series on my blog, it most definitely would have to be this one. No matter what's going on in my life, I've always prided myself in trying to catch up on reading all the blogs I follow. Keep on reading to see which blog posts stood out to me this month!

stay single until your heart heals by holly riordan

I feel like when you end a relationship with someone, it's so easy to jump into the next one, instead of healing by yourself. I know people who haven't been single since they were in high school! I'm not necessarily saying it's a bad thing, I just question if you're always in a relationships, how do you deal with all the baggage that past relationships left behind, or figure out who you are again during this new chapter in your life.

You went from talking to someone every single day, to never speaking to them again (in most situations). It's not like a switch where you can turn off all your feelings. You have to work through those feelings. I really enjoyed this post, so I hope you check it out!

nourishing friendships in your twenties & why they're important.  by sophie rosie

I wrote a whole dedication to my friends last week (if you missed it, here it is), so you definitely know how important my friends are to me, especially throughout my twenties. In this post, Sophie talks about the important of being surrounded by people who make you feel good, and want you to be the best version of you possible.

"We curate our homes, careers and Instagram feeds, and wouldn’t ever settle for anything less than is good for us in any of those fields. So, why do we sometimes settle for friendships that aren’t always up to scratch and leave us feeling a little shitty?" - Sophie Rosie

I definitely suggest giving this a read, I honestly loved this post so so much.

five good news climate change stories by thisdreamsalive

With all the terrifying news about the climate, I found this post to be super refreshing. There were so many good things that I have had no idea about! People love to scream and shout about all the terrible things, and yet forget to give credit to all the amazing things happening. In this post, thisdreamsalive does just that.

if you missed out on the other posts of the series you can catch up here:

Thanks so much for reading! I am so so sorry for the late response. I've been having a little bit of trouble balancing my blogging and real life at the moment and trying to get back into it! Thanks again Hannah xxx
