what i was grateful for in march. |2019

Here we are in the fourth month of the year, and all I can think about is where has the time gone? I've been busy working out, planning my trips for the next few months, spending time with friends and family, and working out the details for my latest surprise (which I still can't tell you about unfortunately).

March was a busy month for me. Extremely busy. For the good, I'm pretty sure. Let's get into things I was extremely grateful for in March!

open mic night

Earlier last month, my best friend, Jill, invited me to an open mic night in a cafe near our houses. She wanted to scratch off something from her bucket list and read her poetry in front of an audience.

Not only did she do amazing, but I really enjoyed myself! I didn't preform anything, but the energy in the cafe that night were so positive, inviting, and accepting that I felt so welcome.

I'm actually planning on going again this month (which is actually this Friday!) I'm weirdly super excited? If any of you happen to live in NJ around this area, pass by! You definitely won't regret it!

spa day

The guy I'm talking to got me two tickets to the Sojo Spa in Edgewater. Originally, I thought he wanted to come with me, but instead he insisted on me inviting my mom. Let me tell you it was amazing.

It was super boujee. I've gone to Korean spas before, but none on this level. You go to the location, and you see that there's only valet parking. Because we had an appointment spa, we were able to cut the line (there was a huge line, with at least 50 people on it)and we made our way up to the VIP exclusive women's area.

The VIP area was strictly for women who were getting treatments at the spa.

We put on our bathing suits and our robes, and we adventured out to explore the spa. Now there was a lot of stuff to do. Multiple pools, views of New York City, a cafeteria with different food options, saunas, steam room, etc!

While I loved my experience, it was super crowded, loud at times, and veryyy pricey. I would go back, but I would go to the other more affordable Korean Spa more often.

I actually spoke about this in my Winter Favorites post. I finally finished the game, and wow. I honestly don't know what to do with my life right now.

The game is an 8-bit indie game that can be found on multiple platforms. We decided to play it on the Nintendo Switch.

The story is about a boy who falls into a cave where monsters have been exiled to. In order to escape the cave you have to go through all the cities and regions throughout the game, and reach the exit.

There are a lot of twists and turns. Your decisions make impact on the endings of the game. There are multiple endings, and I loved the two that I had. It's super inexpensive, but has multiple hours of game play. If you're looking for a new game to play, I truly recommend playing this game!

There have been more exciting things that happened this month, but some of which I can't tell you about just yet. These three things have been the most exciting of my month, and ones I've been grateful for.

How has your month gone? Let me know in the comments down below! As always, thank you for reading! I hope you have a wonderful day/night. Sending you love, strength, and positivity!

The spa day sounds nice, but it's a shame it was so crowded, loud & expensive!
I've also heard good things about Undertale, but I haven't played it myself. I should though!
