post i’m lovin’ | #20

I've been in this writing zone. It's Tuesday for me as I'm writing this, and I have tons of ideas to write for the next few weeks. Let's see how many posts I get through today.

After giving myself a much needed break about a month ago, it's been much easier writing posts. Not only have I been doing a better job keeping up with writing my posts, but I've also gotten better at reading posts! This month was so easy to write one of these up, because there have been so many amazing posts this month. If you want to see what I've been reading and lovin', just keep on reading.

SLUTTY by Emily Clarkson

I've been a huge fan of Emily because of her Instagram profile, but when I found out she had a blog, I was ecstatic. I didn't follow her instagram for her pretty pictures, I followed her solely for her personality and thoughts. I went on her blog and was immediately obsessed. She has dozens of blog posts that I've fallen in love with over the past few months, and this is just one of them.

I related to her so much, because it sucks that women get judged for what they wear no matter what. If she dresses too conservatively, she's a prude, boring etc. If she dresses a little more risque, she's called a slut.

Just because people dress a certain way, does not mean that they are that label that is automatically assumed. It's honestly a great post, and I really do suggest checking it out.

Why you should consider having a wedding planner by doorways and dresses

This post was super interesting to read about. I always wondered the point of a wedding planner, and if you should invest in one in the first place! This post was super insightful. While I'm not anywhere close to getting married, I stumbled upon this post and thought it was a super fun read. If any of you are curious about this topic or are planning getting married soon, check this post out!

Figuring it out by Alice Catherine

As you all know by now, I love thought pieces. Especially when they're personal. I would go as far to say that they might be my favorite posts. Since she's relatively known on social media, she writes about her hesitance for writing about personal things.

She mentions about how someone dmed her saying that she's unrelatable because all she talks about is fashion. She talks about how she uses fashion as a crutch because it genuinely makes her happy.

Most importantly, she talks about how sometimes we don't want to write personal thought pieces when it still hits too close to home. It's a great post that I could relate to.
