Fridaze 018

I completely forgot that it was Friday, and once I realized it was already really late at work, and I didn't have the time to finish the Fridaze post in time. While I thought about skipping this week, I honestly enjoy writing about my week. It's nice to write about the highs and lows.

Even though this week was pretty chill, I do have some things that happened, so grab a cup of coffee or tea and let's chat!

Top Golf for Patty's Birthday

To start off my past weekend, me & a lot of my close friends went to Top Golf for Patty's birthday. I was a bit nervous about going, mainly because of how I was feeling the week prior. I had leftover feelings of anxiety. Of course, I had nothing to worry about, and I ended up having a great time laughing and hanging out with all of my friends.

After Top Golf, we ended up going back to Patty's house, drinking a bit more and playing board games! It was a really good day.

First in-person book club!

I don't know if you guys remember, but I had a virtual book club going on during Covid. After a while it fell off, but recently, one of my friends asked if I could start it up again! I decided to make an Instagram page dedicated to it, and this past week we held our first Book Club meeting.

It was nice, we spoke about the book and we gossiped about our lives. It was a nice way to catch up. We also scheduled our next meeting (it's in January), and we talked about what the books are going to be. Since we're not meeting in December, we decided we'd read two books, and chat about both of them in January!

If any of you are interested in joining, you can follow along on my Instagram page, because I also have a virtual option that you guys can join in and chat with us.

schedule to pick up my car soon.

This week, the car dealership scheduled my pick up appointment for the car! I've been waiting about a month and a half at this point, waiting for my car to finally get here. It's felt like forever, but my wait is almost finally over!

I won't tell you guys what it is just yet, I want to wait til I have the car in my hands. This is something I'm super excited for.

my therapist is leaving me

This might have been the biggest low of my week. On Tuesday, my therapist gave me the news that she won't be working as a therapist for teens and adults, and will be working with young children with a different company. While I'm thrilled for her to be doing something she's excited for, I feel a bit really sad. We've been working together for a bit over a year, and I have felt a bit of a bond with her. I felt like she really understood me, and has helped me overcome so much. I know I'm going to miss her a lot.

another first date

This was pleasantly unexcepted, but I went on a date this week. It wasn't exactly planned, but it went rather well! Originally we were supposed to meet up at a Panera Bread around 5:30-6:00, but I ended up stuck at work until almost 7.

He was really understanding and we ended up meeting up at a diner at 8 instead! I had never been there before, but the food was actually really good. The date itself was also really good. I didn't expect the conversation to flow as well as it did. We didn't have a lot necessarily in common, but he was super interesting to listen to. I liked the fact that he was chatty.

One thing I didn't realize until our date was how tall he was! He's over six feet tall. That may not seem tall to some, but as someone who's barely scratching 5 foot one, it's pretty damn tall.

I'm actually supposed to be hanging out with him later this weekend, which I'm definitely surprised about. I feel like most people wait at least a week before asking for another date! Guess I made a pretty good first impression. I'll definitely keep you guys updated with this one!

I feel like I say this every week, but I never realize how much I've done, until I start talking about it. Now, I hope you guys all had a pretty good week. I would love to hear all about it! As always, sending you all love, strength, and positivity. Chat next Fridaze xx
