Best Compliment I've Ever Received
Compliments honestly make my day. I still remember the best compliment I've ever received. It was about a year ago, and one of my friends Filippo, was having a conversation with me. Mid-conversation, he randomly says "Melina, you are so genuine". When he said that to me, I was so flattered. I live my life trying to be a real and genuine to every person I meet. It was amazing to hear from one of my close friends, that he felt that way.
It goes to show you, no matter how many physical compliments you get, it will never beat a compliment based on your personality. I appreciate every compliment I get, and compliments on your hair, clothes, makeup are really amazing too! I just feel that at the end of the day, the compliments that I remember the most, are the ones based on the real me. The ones based on my personal attributes. I try everyday to improve myself as a person, and it's amazing to know that I'm succeeding.

Is it bad that I HATE compliments?! Regardless of whether they are about my personality or my appearance I just refuse to accept them..
I do feel it is important to give them to people as long as they are genuine as everyone deserves a little self-esteem and ego boost from time to time. I guess what we all want from life is to be liked and to be accepted and these small things make a big difference

This was great! I never really thought about just how much a compliment can mean. I know it feels good to receive one, and like you said, the ones directed at who I am as a person is the best. Feels so great to receive compliments that I'd like to share that with others. Here's yours 🙂 You are a great writer.
