The book is about a girl who is in high school. She lives a very calculated life. She like everything to be planned out, and doesn't like surprises.
Surprise Surprise when she find this ring that belongs to a Genie. Throughout the story you find out what she wishes for and how each of the wishes turn out.
The biggest surprise of all is when she starts falling for Oliver, her Genie. Even when she knows they can't be together, she ends up getting feelings for him.
The book ended exactly like a book with a sequel would end. Well, actually no, I take that back. Most of the time sequels end on a cliff hanger that makes you want to go to the book store at 4 in the morning and figure out what happens next.
The book surprised me, cause I didn't figure out there was a sequel til almost 200 pages in, but when I did, I was nervous to find out how the book was gonna end.
It ended in a way that I was completely content. I'm still slightly curious to figure out what happens next, but It's not in a way that makes me angry that I have to buy it right that instant. It's a quick read, and I recommend this book to anyone who likes romance novels and anything slightly super natural.
