posts i'm lovin 26

After a very long month of learning and trying to make a positive difference, I'm trying to find the balance between our old normal and my current present. I definitely want to go back to writing some of my old content, while making sure I still continue to educate my readers. Today, I'm going back to an old series I've always enjoyed writing. I'll be sharing some of my favorite posts I've read in the past month. Let's get right into it!

Anti-Racism & Being a Better Ally: Black Lives Matter Movement by Alice Catherine

While I always knew what it was to not be a racist, it wasn't until extremely recently that I learned what being an "anti-racist" is. I had never heard of the phrase, but it made complete sense.

Showing that, not only are you not a racist, but also that you do not tolerate anyone who is a racist.

In this post Alice Catherine does a self-reflection on what it means to be a true influencer and an advocate. It's a well thought out and well said post. I've felt very similar to her in this past month. Definitely give this a read!

Even though I've been pretty inactive on posting on my Instagram feed (my story is a completely different story), I always find these posts extremely interesting. I like to keep updated on trends & what's generally working for successful content creators. I think she does a great job of explaining which hashtags work best for her, and you can curate the best hashtags so you can get more engagement!

Definitely give this post a read if you're trying to up your Instagram game!

On: A Few Things Friendship Has Taught Me This Year by In My Sunday Best

I think her post is extremely relatable. She talks about her experiences with friendships, and how her outlook on friendship has changed over the years. I loved reading about the things she has learned from being friends with different kinds of people. Sometimes you don't realize how your friends are teaching you different things, even if that's not their intention. It's beautifully written, and a must read for sure!
