Milk and Honey by Rupi Kaur - ★★★★ 1/2 Stars

After giving poetry a mini break throughout the last few weeks, I'm trying it again! This book has been raved about on social media for a least the last year, but since I've never been a fan of poetry, I wasn't thinking of getting it! I didn't know if I would personally like it. Well boy was I wrong.

All I have to say is that I get it now! This book is beyond amazing. The book is written in a way that it gives me chills. Literal chills.

This book was amazing. The content was indescribable. While I can't relate to everything Rupi Kaur has written, she does an amazing job at painting a scene where you can put yourself in her shoes.

She separated the book into four parts. These four parts describe four extremely different points in her life. You could skip around and start off reading the parts that relate to you the most. I decided to read the book in the order she published it.

The Verdict

I honestly think this is a book that every single person should read. I don't say that very often, but that's how amazing this book was.

I can't wait to continue wiht my poetry journey and see what other precious gems I find! I hope every single one of you reading this, go out and buy a copy of this book!

Have an amazing day/night. Stay amazing ❤
