Fridaze 053

Hello friends, happy Friday and happy Fridaze. I feel like every moment I congratulate myself for being consistent, I end up skipping a week of posting anything. Grab a drink, and let's hop right into the good stuff.

My Brother Got Married

Since I skipped two weeks, I thought I would give you the only major highlight that was missed. My brother got married! We spent the weekend in Connecticut, and had an amazing time. We got there Friday, and spend time with the two of them. We all had dinner together, and then headed to a nearby casino (where I won $5, aha). Then, Saturday was the wedding itself. Everyone seemed to have a good time, and the night flew on by. We ended up checking out another casino close by (where we had delicious pizza, and I ended up losing $100).

The time flew by way too quickly, and I can't wait for the next time we're all reunited!

My own Desk!

I actually got my home desk situation all settled finally, and so I've been enjoying using my new PC. I bought this keyboard that's so satisfying to type with, and it's made me feel excited to start writing again. I have never had a real specific desk space to myself, so this feels really nice honestly.

It's still missing some personality, but that'll take some time. I'm thinking of adding green accents around my desk space, and then add some fun wall art behind it. I don't have a real computer desk, and have been pulling up my dining room chair at the moment. So that's another thing I have to figure out. But for now, I'm just happy that I finally started getting everything together.

Enjoying a slower week

The week itself was pretty uneventful. I worked out a bit, enjoyed the nice weather on my balcony. Did some reading (what else is new), and overall I've really enjoyed it. While I love summer, I tend to book my schedule so heavily, that I honestly needed this breather.

Baulder's Gate 3

This past Thursday, a game I've been waiting to come out has finally been released. It's honestly why I set up my PC space up in the first place. I needed the PC in order to play this game with J. Baulder's game is a turn based role playing game. It's honestly like Dungeons and Dragons the board game, but with a set plot.

There are so many ways to play this game, and so many outcomes that can come from every decision and action you make. I have over 10 hours of gameplay already, and I'm completely obsessed. I know we have only scratched the surface so far, but in a lot of ways, this game is leaps and bounds better than Divinity 2 (similar game, and made by the same company.)

Girls Night

I had my first late girls night in forever. Amanda came over last Friday, and we painted our nails, ordered in some pizza, and drank lots of prosecco while gossiping about anything and everything. I had such an amazing time. And once again, it made me so happy to have such an amazing friend like her.

I didn't know it at the time, but I was really missing some quality friend time, and that night was honestly just perfect. We were giggling the night away just like we did together when we were in high school.

Congratulations to your brother! I also need to get a new desk. I've been using the same old desk for years and it's gotten to the point where it's so uncomfortable to use that I just blog from my bed at this point. I hope you have a wonderful week! ♥

Exactly! I always would blog on my dining room table, or the couch or my bed. So it feels nice to have my own space to sit down and blog. Highly recommend doing it whenever you have the funds! Thanks for reading and commenting. I hope you also had a great weekend xxx
