Fridaze 041

Happy Fridaze, how are you? This week has completely flown by. I can't believe we're in February already (I honestly say this every month)! This was a really quiet week of Luca, reading, and watching tv. It's been a really cold week over here, so mainly want to stay home, cuddled with a book (or my Kindle).

Amanda

Last Friday, my friend, Amanda, came over. It was really nice. While we hang out with our boyfriend a lot, we hadn't had a girl's night in a while. We split a bottle of wine, had some dinner, and just caught up. I really missed her, so it was nice to just sit and chat.

Mall with Sofia

Then this past Wednesday, Sofia and I went to the mall. We love the online store Dynamite, and they opened a store in a mall close to us. The store itself was beautiful, and everyone who worked there was really nice!

We ended up both getting some pieces. It's super cool to have one of our favorite stores available to use in person now.

Luca spends a few days over

J spend a few days away for work, and as always Luca slept over. He was such a bad boy the first night he came over (he's six months old now, and he's going through his "terrible twos"). After that first night, he was pretty well behaved, which I am so thankful for.

He was also having some weird stomach issues, and after switching brands about 2-3 times, we realized that it might have been the protein. We bought a lamb protein bag, instead of getting him chicken, and his stomach issues have gone away! We're so glad to have figured out what was wrong.

Creating my own Reading Journal

After buying a reading journal on Etsy, I realized there were a lot of things I would have liked in it that wasn't there. I decided to actually take the time, and make my own digital reading journal! It's taking me a long time, but eventually I'll share it with you guys when I'm done. It's kind of cool to create something like this from scratch.

I used to do all of my reading journal stuff in my bullet journal, but I've been really enjoying using the digital one.

I finally finished ACOMAF, and I totally understand why people are loving it. It was so so so good. I would say twice as good as ACOTAR! Gotta move on to the next one now 🙂 Thanks for reading and commenting xx

Sounds like a lovely week, Melina! Relaxed evenings in with girlfriends are so valuable. We haven’t planned in a little while, so are hoping to gather troops for a cosy Galentine’s Day celebration! Can’t wait to read more about your reading journal – I recently started keeping some book notes on Notion, which is working perfectly for me.

I haven't had a Galentine's day in so long, I really should plan one out next year! I bought a reading journal on etsy, but it really hasn't suited my needs perfectly, so I've been adding my own pages, so I thought why not create "my perfect reading journal"! Hope you're doing well 🙂 xx

My personal life has gotten so busy, that I haven't really made much progress yet, but it's for sure in the works. Hope you're doing well 🙂 x
