Back again with another book review! I've been reading books at a super quick pace. It probably has to do with the fact that school is over, and I've been using reading as a source of relaxation.

I've owned this book for about a year now, but I never seemed to take it off my bookshelf! About a week ago, I took a look at it and decided to give it a go, it was a suspense, and I was interested to see what the outcome was going to be. So here's the back of the book summary:

"When Briana loses out on a starring role in the school's production of Hamlet, she reluctantly agrees to be the drama department's "social media director" and starts tweeting half-hearted updates. She barely has any followers, so when someone hacks her twitter account, Briana can't muster the energy to stop it. After all, tweets like "Something's rotten in the state of Denmark . . . and a body's rotting in the theater" are obviously a joke.

But then a body IS discovered in the theater: Briana's rival. Suddenly, what seemed like a prank turns deadly serious. To everyone's horror, the grisly tweets continue . . . and the body count starts to rise.

There's no other explanation; someone is live-tweeting murders on campus.

With the school in chaos and the police unable to find the culprit, it's up to Briana to unmask the psycho-tweeter before the carnage reaches Shakespearian proportions . . . or she becomes the next victim."

I liked the idea of a present day murder mystery. Now what did I actually think of the book? Well I was disappointed to say the least. The book is about 250 pages, which is pretty short for a young adult fiction novel. It is especially short for a mystery. I felt the book was very rushed.

You didn't get to know the main characters well, the murders were happening so quickly that you didn't really have time to feel bad for the characters. I was excited, because I liked the way the author wrote. The first 75-100 pages were extremely well written and was going at a steady pace. I felt the last 150 pages or so felt rushed. Things didn't really add up to me, and I felt like the author wanted to quickly fix everything up in the end.

I was not a fan of this book and would not recommend this book to others. If you do decide to read it, read at your own discretion.

I hope you liked reading my opinion on this book! Have a wonderful day/night.

This is a shame. The book itself sounds really interesting. You can imagine it becoming a T.V drama. But 250 pages is short so I can see how it would be rushed. I wanted you to know, that I nominated you for an award. There is no obligation to accept. xxx
