Feeling Uninspired & Disappointed with Myself.

For those of you that have been following my blog for a while, you would know that my favorite type of content to write was always think pieces. Posts that came from real life experience and thoughts.

Posts that were, at times, difficult to write, but I was extremely proud of them.

Lately, I feel like I've been stuck in this loop of writing a lot of lifestyle content. It's simple to write, but nothing I'm particularly proud of.

I feel like I've had the greatest case of writer's block.

I thought that if I continued writing, I would get through it. Here I am months later, and still without a single post that I can honestly say I've been proud of. While I enjoy sharing my Fridaze with you, they're not necessarily posts that are quality. They're fun to write and share with you all, but that's cause I like giving you lil' personal tidbits about my life.

I'm hoping it's cause we were in a lockdown.

I feel like so many talented bloggers have written gold throughout the lockdown, and here I am writing fluff.

Maybe now that the lockdown's been lifted, I'll be able to get some inspiration through my day to day life again?

I've thought about giving my blog a lil' refresh, hoping that changing some things might make me want to write more (hopefully better quality things). I think I'm going to hold that off, and if I don't get rid of this writer's block, then maybe I'll make some changes in the next few months.

How do some of you guys do it?! Please send me some tips on finally getting back to writing some quality content.

As always, sending you love, strength, and positivity xx

Writer's block is hard! I've felt like life has been stagnant since the lockdown. Even when our lockdown lifted slightly I got used to doing nothing and just waiting for the days to go by. Definitely not a situation where it's easy to find inspiration! I think you should be proud that you've been able to write through it, even if you aren't feeling extra creative. And something I'm learning is that you absolutely cannot compare yourself to others, there is only one you and no one else will have your unique perspective & life experiences. You'll find what inspires you 🙂

It's true! Thank you so much for the thoughtful comment. I feel like as things have opened up, I've had a lot to write about. Now my problem is dealing with my MH and making sure I actually feel like writing what's going on in my head at the moment, aha!
