Regardless of whether they are about my personality or my appearance I just refuse to accept them..
I do feel it is important to give them to people as long as they are genuine as everyone deserves a little self-esteem and ego boost from time to time. I guess what we all want from life is to be liked and to be accepted and these small things make a big difference

I never really thought about just how much a compliment can mean. I know it feels good to receive one, and like you said, the ones directed at who I am as a person is the best.
