Am I A Professional Blogger Now?

If you’ve been following me for a while, then you know that I haven’t been the best blogger over the years. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve put this blog on the back burner more times than I could count.

Every time I think I find a way to consistently blog, life gets in the way. Sometimes it’s just the fact that I have no motivation to blog, or I would rather do anything else (play games, watch tv, work out, or read) instead.

Nonetheless, this blog holds such a special place in my heart. I’ve been blogging since December of 2016 (please don’t go back and look at those posts, they’re honestly pretty terrible and cringey).

I have made so many changes, from the content I write to the different layouts I’ve had throughout the years.

Those of you that have been around since the beginning may even remember that I didn’t used to have my blog under my own name. It used to be under Ivefoundwaldo (the name of my tumblr before officially starting a blog).

Even with all of those changes, I never officially made myself a logo. I would always feel so much pressure to get it “perfect”. There were so many ways I could go about it, and every time I would start designing one, I would get overwhelmed and give up.

Well today, I’m officially sharing with you my new logo! I mainly made it so it’s shows up in the corner of my site identity (instead of an old photo of myself).

I don’t know about you, but I think it looks so good. It fits well with my current blog theme, it’s simple, and classic. And while I considered going with a trendier look, my boyfriend helped me narrow it down to this one!

So tell me, what do you think?!

Your new logo is absolutely stunning! It’s so chic and classy. And it's awesome that your boyfriend helped you out with the decision. Can't wait to see more from you with this fresh look! xx

Thank you so much, it was really hard when choosing between two different designs, and this one felt a bit more classic compared to the other one that had a bit more of a trendy look. It's so hard choosing a logo when I felt like each one showed a different part of my personality!

Join me for a cozy reading vlog in Montreal, Canada 🇨🇦! In this video, I spend a few days exploring the city’s beautiful streets and cafés while reading books by Canadian authors (Elodie Colliard). Not only was I reading a Canadian Author while in Canada, but I'm also reading a completely new author to me!I share my thoughts, travel moments, and new reads — all with a cozy, fall aesthetic.

If you love book vlogs, travel diaries, or discovering new Canadian indie authors/books this one’s for you!
