Fridaze 015
Hey, how are we at the end of October already? I feel like time is going way to quickly. I remember last month when I pre-ordered my car I thought the wait was going to feel much longer. Well, here we are. My sister is supposed to get her car in the next 10 days or so, and I'll get mine a little afterwards, so that's exciting.
My week wasn't overly eventful, but we can chat about it anyways!
My Grandma is visiting from Dominican Republic
The most exciting news for the week is the fact that my grandma spontaneously came to visit from Dominican Republic. My brother's been there for the past two weeks, and she decided to come back home with him. She'll be here for a lil over three weeks, but it's been nice to spend time with her. She's put me on watching some Turkish novelas (soap opera). I swear they're just as dramatic as the Hispanic ones!
Even though I haven't watched every episode, I can't say I haven't been sucked in a bit.
Soaking up the last bit of Sun
We've had some crazy weather up here in the northeast! Some days it's really chilly and other days are really warm and beautiful out. Every sunny day we've had, I've spent it outside.
I know for a fact I really struggle with the colder months, and so I'm trying to appreciate the nice sunny days while we still have them.
Binge Reading
With my anxiety on the fritz, I've been reading a lot. Reading has always been a good escape for me. I've read 2-3 books this week! My sister's always been impressed by the fact that I can read so many books at a time. I think I'm currently reading 3 books? I usually pay more attention to one verses the others, but I flip flop depending on my mood.
