I'm so glad that this post resonated with you! I can imagine that being in a small town it would be difficult to share your goals with them, without everyone else knowing, and getting talked about if they don't work out or are outside of the norm. Thanks for reading and commenting Laura! I actually have never thought about it that way. While the opinions of those online don't really matter to me, the opinions of those I care about can sway my opinion if I was already doubting myself. There are some goals that I just keep to myself, so I can work on it without the judgments of anyone other than my own. Thanks so much for reading and commenting 🙂 xx

I think part of it for me, was I grew up in a small town so anytime you didn't do what you were suppose to, people instantly talked about you, and it just added more pressure. It is no ones business, why you haven't achieved something. I also think you can create goals and realize that down the road they no longer serve you. It is a personal journey and you have to do what is best for you. I wish you the happiest and most successful 2020 sweets where ever your dreams and hopes lay. <3

Probably because friends are more-likely to check in and remember, or instantly show a reaction which I may not approve of. But having said that, once you put something online it's set in stone and I'd like to think my goals may expand or extend as I continue to develop this year.
I guess for me, if I tell someone something, I have to be confident their views won't edit mine. Which is a pretty hard thing to do.
